Gerald W. Scully, Ph.D.

Senior Fellow 


Gerald W. Scully is a Senior Fellow of the National Center for Policy Analysis and a professor of economics in the School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.

His articles have appeared in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Law and Economics, Public Choice and other scholarly journals. He is the author, coauthor or editor of five books.

Dr. Scully is also an expert on the economics of sports. He is the author of The Business of Major League Baseball, and his most recent book is The Market Structure of Sports.

He was a Bradley Distinguished Resident Scholar at the Heritage Foundation, 1990-91.
