High Cost of Texas High School Dropouts to be Unveiled Monday

Dallas, TX – What is the true cost to Texas taxpayers of high school dropouts now and into the future?  What can be done to reduce this continuing problem?  Is school choice an answer?  Former Education Secretary Rod Paige will join leaders from the Dallas-based National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA), Hispanic Council for Reform and Educational Options (Hispanic CREO) and the Milton and Rose D. Friedman Foundation Monday to unveil a new study quantifying both the short and long-term costs of failing to reform Texas schools.
