Former Defense Intelligence Agency director, author, and experienced combat veteran, Lt. General Michael T. Flynn will discuss the growing threat of Islamic terrorism and address NSA surveillance, border security, and other national security challenges facing America at an Addison luncheon co-sponsored by the National Center for Policy Analysis.

Media are invited to attend and cover. Recording will be allowed.

Flynn has been a vocal critic of both the Bush and Obama administrations’ national security policies, blaming U.S. strategic failures for much of the instability in the Middle East – and even the rise of the Islamic State. His key position in the Obama administration during the rise of ISIS gives him a unique perspective the threat of ISIS and the security issues facing our nation during this time of unprecedented geopolitical chaos.

He will discuss the changing role of the intelligence community as issues of privacy and surveillance gain traction in the media and with the American public.

He will also share insights into how global trends in population, technology, economics, and resources have the power to affect America’s position on the world stage.

The event is open to the public. Tickets are available for $45/person and $400/table.
