Senior Policy Analyst 


Matt Moore is Senior Policy Analyst with the NCPA, and researches, writes and speaks on Social Security and retirement issues, elderly entitlements, and education policy. Moore is a frequent guest on national radio programs and on regional television. His columns appear regularly in newspapers nationwide, from The Washington Times and Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel to the Providence Journal.

Previously, Moore headed the NCPA's satellite office in Washington D.C. and was responsible for government affairs and outreach, ensuring that NCPA's research and findings get into the hands of members of Congress and their staffs. He also represented the NCPA with associations, coalitions and organizations in Washington.

Prior to joining the policy staff, Moore worked in both media relations and public policy, helping to market NCPA experts and research. He also attended Capitol Hill hearings and conferences on Social Security, Medicare, tax reform and welfare.

Moore earned a Masters degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
