National Center for Policy Analysis Names John Carona to Board

The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) is pleased to announce that former state Senator John Carona has joined the NCPA Board of Directors.

Carona is the founder and CEO of Associa, the largest homeowner association management firm in the nation. He served in the Texas Legislature from 1991-2014.

“I am honored to serve on the board of the NCPA.  The organization has proven to be a respected leader in offering conservative solutions to the nation’s most pressing public policy issues,” said Senator Carona.

NCPA Board Chairman Steve Ivy said, “Sen. Carona is an outstanding addition to the NCPA board membership. He brings a highly successful record of public service and entrepreneurship and we welcome his expertise.”

Carona served three terms as a member of the Texas House of Representatives and six terms as member of the Texas State Senate. He is a former President Pro Tempore of the Texas Senate and recipient of over 400 public service awards. He has also served the community as a bank director and as the advisor for the real estate departments of several area financial institutions.

“Senator Carona’s public and private sector entrepreneurial experience are essential in providing the insights and perspectives that make NCPA ‘America’s Think Tank.’ He will certainly enable NCPA to take its policy work to an even higher level.”
