Economist, Author Shatters Myth that the World's Best Days Are Over

He co-authored the book, It's Getting Better All the Time: The Greatest Trends of the Last 100 Years, with Julian Lincoln Simon. "There has been more improvement in the human condition in the past 100 years than in all previous centuries combined since man first appeared on the earth," the authors wrote. "This is the best time on earth to ever have lived."
